How to become a donor?

The best way to ensure that a personal wishes to be a donor are fulfilled is for him/her to discuss the matter with the closest family members. At the time of death the family may be contacted by the Centre's appointed coordinators to consider tissue donation. If this was discussed amongst family members while every one was still alive and healthy, the decision to donate (or not to), will be so much easier.

A person may also contact the CTE to obtain any further information with regards to donation. Upon completion of registration a donor card will be completed and send back to the person to be carried on the person at all times. This will enable police and/or emergency personnel easy access to relevant information.
